This can be done as a finger play or you can jump up and down like a monkey and make it an action rhyme.

Five little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head! (Ow!)
Mommy called the Doctor, and the Doctor said,
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Four little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head! (Ow!)
Mommy called the Doctor, and the Doctor said,
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Three little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head! (Ow!)
Mommy called the Doctor, and the Doctor said,
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!
Two little monkeys jumping on the bed,
One fell off and bumped his head! (Ow!)
Mommy called the Doctor, and the Doctor said,
No more monkeys jumping on the bed!

Game Instructions
Perform the same actions with each verse. The number of fingers goes down with each subsequent verse.
Finger Play Version
1. Hold up the number of fingers for the number of monkeys jumping on the bed. Then have them go up and down on the back of your other hand like monkeys jumping on a bed.
2. Put one finger down like it fell off the bed.
3. Pretend to talk on the phone.
4. Shake your finger back and forth like your saying no.
Action Rhyme Version:
Line 1: Hold up the number of fingers for the number of monkeys jumping on the bed. Then jump up and down like a monkey.
Line 2: Hold up one finger, touch the floor and then touch your head.
Line 3: Mime holding a phone up to your ear.
Line 4: Move your pointer finger back and forth to mime no! Then jump up and down like a monkey again.
