Nancy M. Wrote, "Re. Wibbelton/wabbelton - Yes absolutely a legitimate children's rhyme. And bouncing a toddler on your lap is fun for both a child and the adult as long as it is done gently and lovingly. Anyone who is observing this activity knows when both participants are having a good time and when they're not. Our young child bounced on the lap of an adult, while the adult is reciting a nonsense rhyme has been going on for centuries."
Game Instructions
Hold child while gently bouncing them on your lap during the whole chant.
On "for Wibbleton": Bounce child on left knee.
On "for Wobbleton": Bounce child on right knee.
You may go slower or faster while repeating the rhyme.
