A Spider Web
A Spider Web
Poem
A filmy web a spider spun,
What fun!
On a morning-glory vine,
How fine!
From flower to flower he'd fling
A silken string,
And tie it taut and tight,
Just right.
Back and forth I saw him go,
To and fro,
Up and downward in the sun,
Run and run,
Till the pretty house was done,
All spun.
