चना ले मैंने मोर चुगाये; मोर ने मोकुं पंख दीयो…
पंख ले राजा कुं दीनो; राजा ने मोकुं हाथी दीनो…
हाथी ले बजाज कुं दीनो; बजाज ने मोकुं धोती दीनी…
फाड़ तोड़ लंगोटी कीनी; बचे खुचे की टोपी कीनी…
उड़ु उड़ु धम्म!!
Mother's little son is on the lower leg; got a penny from my mother…
Took the penny and put it in the Ganges; the Ganges gave me sand…
Gave the sand to the roaster; the roaster gave me chickpeas…
I gave the chickpeas to the peacock; the peacock gave me a feather…
Gave the feather to the king; the king gave me an elephant…
Gave the elephant to the cloth merchant, the cloth merchant gave me a dhoti*…
Tore the dhoti & made a diaper, with remaining made a cap…
Up, up I go!!!
