I'm Nobody! Who are You?
This poem is a celebration of being anonymous and not famous.
I'm Nobody! Who are You?
Poem
I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us - don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!

According to Wikipedia, "'I'm Nobody!' is one of Dickinson's most popular poems, Harold Bloom writes, because it addresses 'a universal feeling of being on the outside.' It is a poem about 'us against them'; it challenges authority (the somebodies), and 'seduces the reader into complicity with its writer.' [Anna Priddy and Harold Bloom. 2008. Bloom's How to Write about Emily Dickinson. Infobase Publishing. pp. 103ff.]
