Hosisipa
"'Hosisipa' comes from Isleta Pueblo where my 3rd grade Native American Tiwa music students learned the song and playing a rock passing game with it!
We play the game to this song, getting faster and faster until the game falls apart. In my class, I use baby shoes instead of rocks (you should see the 5th grade boys coo over the tiny sneakers).
As far as I know, 'hosisipa' are not real words but are 'vocables'." –Holly Deuel Gilster

"I am submitting a recording of 'Hosisipa' to your website. It comes from Isleta Pueblo where my 3rd grade Native American Tiwa music students learned the song and playing a rock passing game with it!
I wanted to send a recording of Native American children singing it (although we are from the Isleta Pueblo Elementary in NM). I thought you would like an authentic recording " –Holly Deuel Gilster
