Quaker, Quaker
Quaker, Quaker
Circle Game
"Quaker, Quaker, how art thee?"
"Very well, I thank thee."
"How's they neighbor, next to thee?"
"I don't know, but I'll go see."
Game Instructions
All are seated in a circle and the leader turns to his neighbor on the left. While wagging his hand, he asks, "Quaker, Quaker, How art thee?" The neighbor responds, "Very well, I thank thee." Then the leader asks, "How's they neighbor, next to thee?" He responds, "I don't know, but I'll go see."
Number two then turns to his neighbor asking the same questions and wagging his hand ; and so on around the ring, all wagging hands, until the leader is reached again. He now starts with the same questions, but wagging both hands; and so the game goes on, until both hands, both feet and the head are wagging, and the little folks are filled with merriment and joyous laughter.
