Playing hide and seek, night fell upon the woods,
Playing hide and seek, night fell upon the woods,
And the cuckoo's singing sent our fears away
And the cuckoo's singing sent our fears away.
Coo-coo, coo-coo.
-Wolf, where are you?
-I'm lying down and resting.
Playing hide and seek, night fell upon the woods,
Playing hide and seek, night fell upon the woods,
And the cuckoo's singing sent our fears away
And the cuckoo's singing sent our fears away.
Coo-coo, coo-coo.
-Wolf, where are you?
-I'm putting on my pants.
Playing hide and seek, night fell upon the woods,
Playing hide and seek, night fell upon the woods,
And the cuckoo's singing sent our fears away
And the cuckoo's singing sent our fears away.
Coo-coo, coo-coo.
-Wolf, where are you?
-Now you're gonna see me and I'll eat all of you up!
Game Instructions
One child is chosen to be the wolf. The children delineate a space. The child acting as the wolf stays hidden out of this space. While they sing the song, the children must walk inside the space. When the wolf comes out of his hiding spot, the kids must run away without going out of the delineated space. The kids caught by the wolf must go and sit in the "house" of the wolf. The last one who hasn't been caught at the end becomes the new wolf. Then the game starts all over again.
