Today is born of the Virgin,
He who holds all of Creation within His hands.
Swaddled as a mortal is He who none can touch.
God lies in the manger,
He who first created the Heavens of old.
He feeds on milk from the breast,
He who in the wilderness rained Manna on the people.
He invited the Magi, He who is the Bridegroom of the Church.
The Son of the Virgin accepts these Gifts,
We exalt at Thy birth, O Jesus.
