Note that in Spanish, "a" is pronounced "ah", "e" is pronounced "eh", "i" is pronounced "ee", "o" is pronounced "oh" and "u" is pronounced "oo".
There's a version with the last line as "Y no me deja trabajar" (and doesn't let me work).
