Notes
(1) Slikkepott refers to licking the finger... as children do when you bake something, they lick the pot.
(2) Long man/tall man… the longest finger on the hand.
(3) Gull = gold - refers to the gold ring you get on the finger when getting married/engaged.
(4) Little Peter fiddleman - it is a nursery rhyme in itself - fiddler on the roof.
(5) The only thing making sense for the toe rhyme is the big horse - big toe.
