Los rosièrs - Occitan Children's Songs - Occitania - Mama Lisa's World: Children's Songs and Rhymes from Around the World - Intro Image

Notes

There's a version with the 3rd line as "De ròsas e de brotons" (Of roses and sprouts/shoots).

Game Instructions

The children walk in a circle holding hands. At the end of the song, the leader names a child who then turns his back to the center and the circle starts walking around again. When all of the kids have their backs facing the center, they can either play the game "backwards" until all are back in their original positions or they can all turn around together.

The 3rd line can also be sung in plural (madomaisèlas) and all of the kids clap their hands and turn around at the end of the song.
