Game Instructions

Children are in a circle, and the one who sings points, with each syllable, to each child in turn, starting with himself.

At the end of the rhyme, the child being pointed to says a place, usually a country, and the one who sings repeats the place, and with each syllable points to a different child, starting with the one next to the one who said the place. When they run out of syllables, the last child pointed to exits the circle. Then there are two ways to go about it: the first one who goes out is the one who's chosen, or the game repeats and children continue to exit until the last one who stays in is chosen.
