Today the Virgin comes to the cave
To give birth to He who is beyond all things
Dance, O universe, upon hearing the news
Angels and shepherds glorify
He who is willingly a newborn babe,
He is God before time.
Today the Virgin bears Him, the transcendental incarnation
And the earth offers the cave to Him
Angels sing with the shepherds in glory,
Wise men follow the Star to find Him
For us a child is born,
He is God before time.
