Dollar, dollar how you wander
From the one hand to the other

To keep poor (name of child*) standing there?

*Name of child in center of circle.
Game Instructions
The children form a circle and one goes in the middle. The child in the middle has to close his eyes for the count of ten while the game starts. The other children sing the song while passing a coin (or silver dollar) from the person on the right to the person on the left (trying to hide it from view of the child in the center). When they don't have the coin to pass they all pretend to pass it. They keep passing it while the kid in the middle tries to guess who has the dollar. Whoever is caught with the dollar switches places with the child in the middle.
