"Pollito, Chicken" is a song in which the lyrics alternate between Spanish and English. It's used by speakers of both languages to learn the other one. Here's what Naida wrote about it:
"I was looking for some songs from the Spanish speaking world and I checked the ones you have from my country, Puerto Rico. There's one that isn't there and it's very common in Puerto Rico. In fact, a Porto Rican teacher wrote it in the early 1900's, when they started to establish the teaching of English at school. Here are the lyrics..."
