The English translation is singable to the tune.

L'as-tu vu ? - French Children's Songs - France - Mama Lisa's World: Children's Songs and Rhymes from Around the World - Intro Image

Notes

*A "capuchon" is a hood. We translated it to "hat" since "hood" doesn't rhyme with "chap" at the end of the 4th line. The normal version actually goes "au chapeau pointu" (with the pointed hat).
**Joujou is old-fashioned baby-talk for toy.

Literal Translation

Did you see him, did you see him?
The little chap, the little chap,
Did you see him, did you see him?
The little chap with the pointed hood.

He is called Father Christmas,
Thrugh the chimney, through the chimney,
He is called Father Christmas,
Through the chimney, he'll come down from the sky.

He brings toys,
He has a bagful of them, he has a bagful of them,
He brings toys,
He has a bagful of them and they're for us.
