"Say 'Apple Papple' to a Swede and he/she will fill in with 'Pirum Parum' which is a phrase from a traditional Swedish nursery rhyme." –Quoted from a site called "Fine".

There are different versions of this rhyme, but the one above is the most common. Sometimes the first line can be found as " Äppel, päppel, piron, paron" and in some versions it's '' Äppel, päppel, pirum, parum, puff".
