I asked Nyango about the song Cha cha coolay and if it's sung in Cameroon, she replied, "Yes! It is also sung in Cameroon. What we sing sounds more like [the lyrics we posted here]… I know for sure it is not a Cameroonian language and my best guess will be Ghana or Sierra Leone. Some of the words we sang might even be incorrect. It seems to be quite popular on the internet and I found this version.
