The lyrics to this lullaby vary as you can see in the videos of it below. Moreover, "manita" is the diminutive form of "mano" (hand) mostly used in Spain and most of Mexico, while "manito" is used mostly in South America and some parts in South Mexico. But there's no absolute rule. There are then "versions of this song with manita". -Monique
