No se puede hallar esta rima en una de las más extensivas colecciones de rimas llamada The Oxford Dictionary of Nursery Rhymes (1951). Sin embargo, se puede hallar en The Annotated Mother Goose (1962), en la sección titulada "Modern Mother Goose". Creo que era nueva a principios del siglo 20.
