Fatimah wrote, "Originally this song is Arabic. Arabs live in some parts of the south of Iran. These people are native inhabitants of this region, and I'm one of them! So their native or mother tongue is Arabic and their native culture is also Arabic, but they learn and speak the Persian language when they enter school, and as Persian is the official language of Iran and as we are Iranian, so all of us in Iran (Kurds, Arabs, Turks, Turkmen…) learn and speak Persian.

So, "Pigeon" song is Arabic and in an Iranian Arab's accent. (Arabs of Iran like other Arabic parts in the world have their own accent in Arabic, you know that we have many Arabic accents like: Iraqi, Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian, Tunisian, Khalijian (Gulf)…

When you read the "pigeon" song, maybe you'll think it's strange... when I thought about it, I inferred that maybe it has an allegoric meaning. Specially because it is a folkloric song and I think it has a long history. "
