This is the German version of the English round "Heigh-ho! Anybody home." Here are the English lyrics to the song:

Sandeedee sent the following version in a German dialect. Christina said this was a harvest song written in a kind of "Plattdüütsch" –"low German"- one of the half-way dialects between German, Dutch and English.

Jörn Fischer sent this guitar score with the following note, "There's a German adaptation of 'Heigh ho...'. It's an autumn song about weather and harvest. It's a well known folk song in Germany. The notes differ only in the beginning of the third line. To make it easy to play on guitar and to sing as a male singer, I transposed it into D minor, but there are many versions in different tonalities. I attach the sheet of music with guitar chords and 'tabs' (I made it myself for free use)."
