Notes
*Pince : Slang word for "hand". It's only used nowadays in the expression "serrer la pince" - meaning "to shake hands".
Comments
There's a Kenyan song that's similar to this one in a Bantu language. The song's called "Wakyumwa Katambanga" ("Early Sunday Morning"). Dickson Ndambuki from Kenya recently confirmed that the two songs have the same tune. Click on the link to go to the Mama Lisa's World Kenya song page to see the Kenyan song.
