Zwarte Piet, wiedewiedewiet
Black Pete is Saint Nicolas' helper. His name is Pete and his face and hands are all black from crawling down the chimneys to deliver presents.

St. Nicholas Day Song

(English)
Zwarte Piet, wiedewiedewiet*,
Ik hoor je wel, maar ik zie je niet.
Wil je Sint de groeten doen?
Gooi wat in mijn lege schoen.
Zwarte Piet, wiedewiedewiet,
Ik hoor je wel, maar ik zie je niet.
Black Pete, weed-a-weed-a-wheat*,
I can hear you, but I can't see you.
Will you give St. Nick my regards?
Throw something in my empty shoe.**
Black Pete, weed-a-weed-a-wheat,
I can hear you, but I can't see you.
Notes
*Just a sound
**This refers to the St. Nicholas tradition in Belgium of leaving out your shoes (instead of stockings like in some other countries). St. Nick, or Zwarte Piet, leaves a small present or candy in the shoes.
