Sadao wrote, "I am sending an odd song 'QUI KWAI MANIMANI'. This may not be a Japanese song. I do not know the origin of this song, but it is in the song book of Boy Scouts or the YMCA. Someone says that the lyrics are in the Quechua language of Peru or Bolivia. But no one might be able to translate the meaning of it into any language."

Sadao wrote, "The Japanese lyrics are written in KATAKANA, or the angular Japanese phonetic syllabary. So it indicates the song is a foreign song.

I do not know in detail about this song, but I think the boys and girls in Scout activities can have fun singing it together (with foreign boys and girls). I would rather like to know that the song would be sung in any Scout activity such as by the Camp Fire there in the USA or any other country. I can say it is a stateless song."
