There's Fire on the Mountain
Nyango Melissa wrote, "This one usually wore us out! The teacher stands in the ring, while the kids make a ring round her holding hands and running around as she leads the singing..."
There's Fire on the Mountain
Circle Game
Teacher:
There's fire on the mountain
Kids:
Run, run, run
Teacher:
There's fire on the mountain
Kids:
Run, run, run
Teacher:
About turn!
Kids turn and run in the opposite direction:
Run, run, run
Teacher:
About turn!
Kids:
Run, run, run.
This goes on till the teacher calls out:
The fire is out!
Kids:
Ooohhhh
And the kids all fall down
and just lay on the grass,
laughing and having a great time!
