Go dtaitní an ghrian go bog bláth ar d'éadan,
Go dtite an bháisteach go bog mín ar do ghoirt.
Agus go gcasfar le chéile sinn arís,
Go gcoinní Dia i mbosa A láimhe thú.
May you succeed on the road
May the favour of the wind always be with you
May the sun shine softly and nicely on your face
May the rain fall softly and finely on your fields
And until we meet together again
May God keep you in the palm of His hand.
