Fünf Englein haben gesungen,
Fünf Englein kommen gesprungen.
Das erste bläst das Feuer an.
Das zweite stellt das Pfännlein dran.
Das dritte schüttet's Süppchen rein.
Das vierte tut das Salz hinein.
Das fünfte sagt: "Es ist angericht'.
Iss, mein Kindlein, brenn dich nicht!"
Five little angels sang
Five little angels come jumping.
The first blows on the fire.
The second places the little pan on it.
The third pours a little soup in it.
The fourth puts the salt in it.
The fifth says: "It's done."
Eat, my little child, don't burn yourself!
Game Instructions
First the child wiggles all five fingers. Then they show the thumb, then the forefinger, the middle finger, the ring finger and the pinkie at the end.
On "Es ist angericht', Iss, mein Kindlein, brenn dich nicht " they wave their hand.
