The Mango Song is often sung by choruses in English, Dutch, German and Spanish. It's also known as The Fruit Canon.

Notes

Sometimes the last two lines are, "Bananas, bananas, bananas, ooh!" (sung twice).

If anyone knows which country this song comes from originally, please email me to let us know! -Mama Lisa

Update: Daniel Grønnesby wrote: "Hello, the song is actually from Norway. It is often used as a warmup song for choirs, theatre groups and other places where people use their voice. In Norway we actually also have a verse four for the song. The third verse in Norwegian is Ananas (which is the Norwegian word for pineapple) so it rhymes better with bananas which is said similar in Norwegian."
