(English)
Rabbit! Rabbit!
You'se got a mighty habit,
A-runnin' through de grass,
Eatin' up my cabbages;
But I'll git you shore at las'.
Rabbit! Rabbit!
Ole rabbit in de bottoms,
A-playin' in de san',
By to-morrow mornin',
You'll be in my fryin' pan.
Rabbit! Rabbit!
You've got a mighty habit,
A-running through the grass,
Eating up my cabbages;
But I'll get you for sure at last.
Rabbit! Rabbit!
Old rabbit in the bottoms*,
A-playing in the sand,
By tomorrow morning,
You'll be in my frying pan.
