"A Frog Went A-courtin'" dates back to the 16th century. It was first mentioned in "The Compaynt of Scotland" (1549). Many versions have existed over the ages. Some are simply a version of the chorus, often under some version of the title "Keemo Kimo". Here you can find some that we've collected.
