Qué linda manito
Valeria sent this song with the note, "One of my daughter's favorites…"
Qué linda manito
What a Pretty Hand
Canción infantil
Lullaby
(Spanish)
(English)
Qué linda manito que tengo yo
Linda y bonita que Dios me la dio.
Look what pretty hand I have,
Pretty and beautiful that God gave to me.
Notes
Valeria wrote, "Too bad the translation in English gets lost..."
The lyrics to this lullaby vary as you can see in the videos of it below. Moreover, "manita" is the diminutive form of "mano" (hand) mostly used in Spain and most of Mexico, while "manito" is used mostly in South America and some parts in South Mexico. But there's no absolute rule. There are then "versions of this song with manita". -Monique
