Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet,
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
Along came a spider,
Who sat down beside her,
And frightened, Miss Muffet, away.

A tuffet can be either an area of grass
(from tuft of grass) or a low stool.

Whey is the watery part of milk that separates
from the curds when making cheese.
