Ejibe Zangalewa
(Cameroonian Marching Song)

Ms. Nambangi wrote, "Little boys sing this song carrying sticks like rifles over their shoulders and marching. My father told me it was inherited from the soldiers and could possibly be some African language that has been corrupted so thoroughly that no one knows its origin any more. It has a lovely tune and I will gladly sing that for you - though we don't want to encourage guns and violence :-)
